The Bloods and the Crips---False Families—

 Forgive us for the root sins of discrimination, greed,  white supremacy, absentee fathers, divorce, rejection and abandonment  that fueled the formation of these clubs in America. 

Lord, we ask you to raise up in our nation help for single mothers,  strengthen Godly family units, and we ask that the churches in this region begin to have vision to equip their community with a large concentration of help for the poor; food banks, job training resources, after school programs for high schoolers, community and church glee clubs,  bible study groups, teen witnessing and discipleship groups and other uplifting social activities for the poorer communities in America.

 Lord we ask you to equip and envision your people so that restoration of the biblical foundations of the family unit can begin.  Where there is hopelessness, impart hope, where there is discouragement, impart joy, where there is poverty, impart your wealth to be distributed in a way that brings life to the families of these communities in America.  We ask that solid, caring families begin to reach out to those less fortunate.  We ask for billboards and signs within these communities begin to speak loudly of morals and values.  Impart a desire for integrity to the community.  During revival, Lord, remember the poorer communities of America.

We ask that false family foundations crumble under these gangs.  We ask that by your Holy Spirit you begin to unravel the false values and that you bring division into these groups.  We ask that this be done in a way that brings life and not death.  Expose the works of darkness in this region that the light of your word may go forth.  Bring into these neighborhoods tent revivals, signs and wonder ministries, miracles and caring ministries.  Bring evangelists and pastors whose hearts burn with the desire to change their churches to meet the needs of these families who are broken, bruised, and hurting.   

Father we ask you to bring real, true brotherhood and Fatherhood to these communities.  We ask that all that is false be revealed and that in the spiritual realm any curses, edits, or oaths or blood covenants be annulled by the blood of Jesus Christ your son, that the seeds of the gospel may penetrate the minds and hearts of the people of America's neighborhoods where these gangs reside.  Amen
