What exactly is happening in this season of the Christian Life? 

I believe the Holy Spirit sent me understanding through  the following information.  My conclusions are the same as the first century church: "get right with God, stay in His presence, read your Bible, pray for the salvation of your family members,  watch in prayer as never before, preach the gospel as the Lord directs, and prepare yourself to receive the Bridegroom who is coming. 

We ARE to watch for SIGNS of His coming and many of those appear to be happening in our life time.  

Pastor Mark Biltz, of El  Shaddai Ministries, states that the years 2014 and 2015 may be very note worthy to Christians around the world. There will be six different eclipses of the sun and moon that coincide with the Biblical Feast Days that could be significant signs in the heavens of the Lord's return.   http://www.elshaddaiministries.us/stipulation.html  

 What does the bible say about the End Times?

But in those days, after that distress, the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give its light;  and the stars of heaven shall be falling down, and the powers which are in the heavens shall be shaken;  and then shall they see the Son of man coming in clouds with great power and glory;  and then shall he send his angels and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from end of earth to end of heaven. Mark 13;24 Joel 2:31. Mark 24:29,

Many in the past have interpreted this to be "dire" destruction but if you read some of those that are getting revelation like The Bethlehem Star and Shaddai Ministries, you see that what God talks about the moon turning to blood, it most likely is talking about eclipses.

You are already living in the last days, because God has poured His spirit on all flesh--whoever will receive it!

And it shall be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your elders shall dream with dreams;  yea, even upon my bondmen and upon my bondwomen in those days will I pour out of my Spirit, and they shall prophesy.  

Wonders in the heaven, again speak of the six different eclipses of the sun and moon that coincide with the Biblical Feast Days in the year 2014 and 2015.  

And I will give wonders in the heaven above and signs on the earth below, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke:  the sun shall be changed to darkness and the moon to blood, before the great and gloriously appearing day of the Lord come. And it shall be that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.    Acts 2:15

After I have poured out my rains again, I will pour out my Spirit upon all of you! Your sons and daughters will prophesy; your old men will dream dreams, and your young men see visions. And I will pour out my Spirit even on your slaves, men and women alike, and put strange symbols in the earth and sky—blood and fire and pillars of smoke. "The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon to blood before the great and terrible Day of the Lord shall come. "Everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved; even in Jerusalem some will escape, just as the Lord has promised, for he has chosen some to survive. Joel 2:28-32.

For wherever the carcass is, there will be gathered the eagles.  But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun shall be darkened, and the moon not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.  

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven; and then shall all the tribes of the land lament, and they shall see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 

The people will lament, but we, as His dearly beloved Bride will rejoice!

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the one extremity of the heavens to the other extremity of them.

Since that day will come as a thief (unexpected by those who are NOT watching and staying close to Him) then all you have to do is be close to Him to understand what is going on.  And you will be caught up with Him because His angles will gather us to Him.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a rushing noise, and the elements, burning with heat, shall be dissolved, and the earth and the works in it shall be burnt up.

 All these things then being to be dissolved, what ought ye to be in holy conversation and godliness,  waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, by reason of which the heavens, being on fire, shall be dissolved, and the elements, burning with heat, shall melt?  But, according to his promise, we wait for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwells righteousness.   

Christians wait eagerly for a new heaven and earth where righteousness dwells--no more hideous crimes, hatred and war.

Wherefore, beloved, as ye wait for these things, be diligent to be found of him in peace, without spot and blameless;  and account the longsuffering of our Lord to be salvation; according as our beloved brother Paul also has written to you according to the wisdom given to him,  as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; among which some things are hard to be understood, which the untaught and ill-established wrest, as also the other scriptures, to their own destruction.  Ye therefore, beloved, knowing these things before, take care lest, being led away along with the error of the wicked, ye should fall from your own steadfastness:  but grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and to the day of eternity. 2 Peter 3:10

Peter's advise:  Be found of Him in peace, without spot and blameless.  Take Heed (watch) don't fall away but grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord.  Remember Jesus, your BEST FRIEND, AND HIS HOLY SPIRIT IN YOU KNOW ALL THINGS.  LISTEN, WAIT, WATCH FOR HE WILL NOT LET YOU BE LEFT BEHIND.

Behold, the day of Jehovah cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the earth desolate; and he will destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of the heavens and the constellations thereof shall not give their light; the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.  (this could be because His light is coming into the world and everything else will pale in comparison)

When the day of the Lord comes, it will be for the purpose of laying the earth desolate, he will destroy sinners.  

And I will punish the world for evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will make the arrogance of the proud to cease, and will bring low the haughtiness of the violent.  I will make a man more precious than fine gold, even man than the gold of Ophir.  Therefore I will make the heavens to shake, and the earth shall be removed out of her place, at the wrath of Jehovah of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger. Isaiah 13:6

If you are violent, stop and repent, i you are sinning, stop and repent, he wills that all repent.  the earth will actually be moved out of its place and the heavens will shake because of His anger against sin and evil.

Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye peoples: let the earth hear, and all its fullness; the world, and all that cometh forth of it. For the wrath of Jehovah is against all the nations, and his fury against all their armies: he hath devoted them to destruction, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.  And their slain shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up from their carcasses, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood. And all the host of the heavens shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll; and all their host shall fade away, as a leaf fades from off the vine, and as the withered fruit from the fig-tree.  

This destruction appears to be slow and God is asking everyone to hear him and repent.

And when I shall put thee out, (Egypt) I will cover the heavens, and make the stars thereof black; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light.  All the bright lights of the heavens will I make black over thee, and bring darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord Jehovah. Ezekiel 32:7-8.

This tells a bit more about what will happen to the nation of Egypt.

But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun shall be darkened, and the moon not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. 

After this sign in the heavens that ALL can see if they are like watching...

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven; and then shall all the tribes of the land lament, and they shall see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.  And he shall send his angels with a great sound of trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the one extremity of the heavens to the other extremity of them. Matthew 24:29

All shall see the Son coming in His glory as he gathers is elect...but then it will be too late.  Repent now and be blessed with eternal life.
